The Dallas Cross weekend was a huge success last weekend. Bryan Fawley hosted two of the three races out of the Duck Creek area in Garland. From Park Place – Bryan won all three events, while Steve placed in the top ten each day.

Some pics of Bryan at the 2009 Mellow Johnnys Classic at Juan Pelotas Ranch, a few lined up next to the man.
The Cyclocross bike of Ryan Trebon, current national champion. I got to work the pit for Bryan, while I was there I took some pictures of the some of the bikes the pros were riding. I think if Fawley were to sit on this bike, his feet would hit the top tube.

(10/18/9) – During Sunday’s cyclocross race in Pennsylvania, Bryan took the race payout into his own hands, literally.

Bryan Fawley rolled through in 13th place on Sunday, October 18th 2009. He had a close call starting the race as he noticed the new chain that was installed the day before had a pin which had slipped off its link. After borrowing some supplies and tools from the Kona team’s mechanic, Bryan was able to make it to the the start line.

Fawley went to Cincinnati Ohio this past weekend to race in UCI-sanctioned Cyclocross racing. Bryan was racing against the top cyclocross riders in the country including national cyclocross champion, Ryan Trebon. Bryan got 15th and 16th on Saturday and Sunday respectively. This is a great achievement because, without official UCI points to his name, regulations dictate that Bryan start at the very last of the group.
